Furthermore, our new lock nut design ensures a stable, non-rotating platform, enhancing control and consistency during shooting. The addition of a fourth Bastard port section further reduces recoil, effectively mitigating muzzle rise and lateral movement based on individual rifle characteristics, grip, stance and shooting position. The U.R.P. Adjustable Gas System features strategically positioned ports adjacent to pressure points within the brake, maximizing directional effectiveness. Combined with APA's trademark ports, this system minimizes sight picture disruption to an unprecedented degree. With 8 directional gas ports offering 256 tuning combinations, shooters can precisely calibrate the brake to their Unique Recoil Profile (U.R.P.).
