Features

M-Brace is developed from a foundational approach to effectively address the challenge of securely attaching high-precision optical devices to a high-precision rifle. The M-Brace scope mount features a serrated interface that allows for the secure attachment of the M-Brace LRF (laser range finder) mount. Even under significant recoil, these serrations ensure the connection between the scope mount and the LRF mount remains stable, maintaining the alignment between the scope and the ranging or targeting device. Drawing inspiration from Hirth couplings, which are utilized for high-power transmission in gas turbines and precision assembly in machine tools, the serrations are precisely machined into both sides of the most robust section of the M-Brace scope mount. This strategic placement optimizes the structural system formed by the mount, receiver and scope, allowing recoil forces to be symmetrically and efficiently transferred through this system and distributed into the rifle receiver. The distribution of recoil forces is crucial, as they can be substantial and place significant stress on the scope mounting system. For instance, the Wilcox Raptor, weighing nearly 500 g (1.1 lb), is ideally mounted above the forward end of the scope. Due to inertia and recoil, forces can easily surpass 900 N (200 lb). To effectively transfer these forces through the scope mount and into the rifle, well-engineered connections and symmetry are essential to distribute and minimize the resulting stress within both the mount and the scope. Unlike competing products, the recoil forces are not concentrated in any single part of the M-Brace scope mount, nor are they focused on a single scope ring cap. Additionally, they are not applied asymmetrically into the mount, as seen with other competitors. No other system currently available offers a connection between a scope mount and an LRF mount as securely and effectively as the M-Brace. It stands unrivaled in its class. The M-Brace scope mounting System represents an evolutionary advancement from our successful M10 scope rings, which have served thousands of riflemen for over a decade. It is a meticulously engineered product, distinct from the conveniently designed gadgets where engineering was not a priority.

  • The scope mounting system is designed to be straightforward and user-friendly, ensuring a secure installation without the risk of rolling or misalignment
  • The recoil-proof, non-marring scope grip is designed to securely hold scopes in place without causing damage, ensuring stability and precision during use
  • The serrated accessory interface is a precision-engineered connection system designed to securely attach and align various accessories with enhanced stability
  • A multi-position level vial is a precision instrument designed to measure and indicate levelness across various angles, ensuring accurate alignment in diverse applications
  • The return-to-zero (RZ) signaling technique is highly efficient, characterized by its ability to reset the signal to zero between each bit, enhancing data integrity
  • Engineered to seamlessly integrate with picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rails, ensuring precise alignment and secure attachment for optimal performance
  • Precision-engineered from high-strength 7075 aluminum, this CNC machined component offers exceptional durability and performance for demanding applications
  • Manufactured in the United States of America
