Building on the success of our CZ455 scope base and responding to the demand for a dedicated solution for the new CZ457, we are proud to introduce a custom base specifically designed for this remarkable line of rifles. Crafted from a 1-piece of T7075 aluminum and machined in-house on our state-of-the-art HAAS VF4SS 4-axis machining center, this scope base is engineered for precision and strength. It easily slides onto the dovetail and clamps securely with consistent force across the entire rail, ensuring that your CZ457 remains perfectly aligned and steadfast during use. Each base is finished with a type III black hard-coat anodization, enhancing durability and wear resistance. We include a necessary wrench for easily torquing the clamp screws to the recommended specifications. Our rail comes in a 30 MOA can't, tailored for shooters aiming to push their .22LR rifles out to 300+ yd, with a 15 MOA option also available for versatile applications. Thoughtfully designed, we added extra real estate to the front of the rail, allowing you to position your optic further forward. This feature is particularly beneficial when using higher-powered scopes, accommodating the smaller stocks typical of rimfire rifles. Although this base stands taller than standard set-screw models adding approximately 1/2 inches to the dovetail height users can opt for lower-height rings or mounts to achieve a similar over-bore height, maintaining an optimal cheek weld without the need for a riser. As a thoughtful addition, we've incorporated a built-in level into the base design, enhancing precision and accuracy. The material is flared in the appropriate area to facilitate optimal viewing while in the prone position, allowing for minimal movement. This base is not just a functional upgrade; it's a precision-engineered component that enhances the shooting experience for CZ457 rifle owners.
