At Area 419, we identified a gap in the market for scope bases that met our stringent quality standards, prompting us to develop our own. The distinguishing features of this base lie in its meticulous details, setting it apart from competitors. These bases are precision-machined in-house using our 4-axis HAAS Vertical Machining Center (VMC) from 7075 aluminum. Post-milling, the product is free of sharp edges, all corners are radiused and any necessary sharp corners are chamfered. Consistent with our other picatinny products, we apply radiusing between the slots and to the corners of the lugs, minimizing snag points and enhancing the overall aesthetic.
