The LRF/Spotter Adapter serves as a versatile component within the Arisaka Rail Slider System, facilitating the attachment of various shooting accessories to tripods. Designed with compatibility in mind, it accommodates accessories equipped with a standard 1/4-20 threaded mount, such as laser range finders, spotting scopes, rifle rests like the Hog Saddle and chronographs like the LabRadar. Distinctively designed, the LRF/Spotter Adapter resembles a short picatinny rail, featuring two offset notches and tapered ends. These features enable it to seamlessly integrate into the Rail Slider without necessitating the user to press the button to disengage the recoil lug. Upon insertion, the recoil lug automatically engages when properly seated, securely locking the shooting accessory in place. To finalize the attachment, a quick turn of the Rail Slider knob eliminates any slack and firmly secures the accessory. Additionally, an anti-rotation set screw is included to prevent the shooting accessory from loosening or rotating on the adapter, ensuring stable and reliable performance during use.
