IS THIS 22 LR UPPER LEGAL IN CA. AND IS THERE A 10 ROUND MAGAZINE MADE FOR IT ? IF YES DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY?

BEST ANSWER: CA DOJ has said the CMMG Bolt and magazine conversion to Rim Fire 22 is completely legal in California (very surprizing) and your AR can keep all its Evil Features expect granade launcher, Rocket launcher. So, this complete upper would certinely be legal as you could not fire a .223/5.56 center fire from it.

swapping out parts

I got this upper awhile back. Didn't like how cheap it looks. I replaced the barrel nut forward assist hand guards front hand guard plate ejection port cover delta ring kit charging handle and threaded the barrel for an A2 flash suppressor all from PSA. To be honest about it I had a lot of the parts before I started. My brother has a front take off sight base that I will drill and install with set screw like what came on it. Will cut and install sight pins to give it a stock look. Sight base came with a stuck gas tube. Will cut it off short enough to go through front hand guard plate. The front will be done the same. Hand guards have heat shields on top and bottom so no one will be able to tell that the gas tube is cut. I have a poly lower ordered from RRA. Big improvement without spending a lot. Lot's of time on my hands it seems?
