The PS-31 BNVD features independently pivoting tube housings, allowing operators to switch between binocular and monocular configurations. Utilizing both tubes enhances depth perception, facilitating easier navigation through terrain and operation of devices such as control panels and door knobs. Alternatively, the monocular configuration supports seamless adaptation to varying lighting conditions encountered in dynamic environments.
