The VERT buffer system is designed for 5.56mm/.223 direct gas impingement systems and is also compatible with 300BLK DI systems, provided they have an appropriate gas port size. Tested extensively on industry-standard Colt 6920 rifles using factory 5.56/.223 ammunition, the patented VERT buffer system is engineered as a drop-in stock solution. Due to the diverse configurations of AR-15 rifles with aftermarket components and various types of ammunition, your rifle may require adjustments for optimal performance with the VERT buffer system. Common adjustments include modifying the barrel gas port diameter to ensure proper cycling and reliable bolt lock-back on the last round. We recommend using an adjustable gas block, gas key or bolt carrier for fine-tuning the gas system. The VERT buffer system has also been successfully tested with 300BLK direct impingement AR platforms in both semi-auto and full-auto modes. However, it's crucial to configure your rifle correctly, especially considering the significant differences in performance between 300BLK supersonic and subsonic ammunition, whether suppressed or unsuppressed. Your rifle may need tuning specific to these variables and performance expectations may differ depending on your setup.
