Consistent with our other medical equipment, such as the Trauma Kit Now and the Micro TKN, the Tourniquet Now pouch can be accessed with one hand-or even a single finger-by simply pulling the tab down to remove the tourniquet. Previously, users had to choose between overly complex flapped or zippered pouches, rigid open top pouches or leaving the tourniquet exposed with rubber bands. The first option can be cumbersome and time-consuming, as searching for a zipper pull is not feasible when every second counts for survival. Exposed tourniquets are prone to faster degradation due to UV rays, water, sand and debris. The belt-mounted Tourniquet Now pouch enables you to carry a tourniquet on your belt, which is arguably the most effective life-saving device. Whether you are heading to the mall, the office or exploring the woods, a tourniquet should always be within reach. The pouch is compatible with any pants belt or duty belt up to 2 inches wide. Although designed around the CAT tourniquet, it can accommodate the SOF, RATS, TK4, SWAT-T or other similarly sized tourniquets with some unpackaging and rearranging.
