Justin Gingrich served 10 years in elite units (3rd Ranger Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group, Ranger Training Brigade) and as a civilian security contractor in Iraq and post-Katrina New Orleans. In 1998 he joined American Tomahawk, pioneering the modern tactical tomahawk, then founded Ranger Knives in 2001. After selling Ranger Knives to Ontario Knife in 2008, he launched Gingrich Tactical Innovations in 2009, where he continues designing hard-use knives and tactical tools.
