For most older .22LR firearms lacking a factory replacement magazine tube, this kit supplies the necessary components to custom-fabricate a compatible magazine. Each tube blank features a rolled crimp on one end only. Kit no 1 includes a 0.35 inches outer diameter tube, measuring 17-1/2 inches (44.4 cm) in length, along with a 23-1/2 inches (59.6 cm) spring, follower, plug and cross pin. It is suitable for certain Winchester models, both vintage and contemporary, as well as various other brands. Note that it is incompatible with tubular magazines featuring a plastic follower, such as the Marlin model 60 and its derivatives.
