The Brownells Remington rifle extractor rivet anvil is designed to fit within the bolt recess to support the rear side of the extractor rivet during the peening process, securing a new extractor in place. This anvil, identical to the one utilized by Remington, is hardened to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 60-63. It features an additional cut at the base to enhance stability when clamped in a vise. The package includes detailed instructions for use.
