The machined Delrin rod guide ensures proper alignment of the rod, preventing contact with the barrel walls and potential damage. During use, the guide is placed onto the cleaning rod prior to attaching the brush or mop and then inserted into the chamber end along with the rod tip. It is safe for use with cleaning solvents or lubricants and will not scratch or mar the chamber.
