This tool is an excellent combination punch for gunsmiths, machinists and toolmakers. It features a high-impact steel handle with a knurled grip, ensuring easy handling and precise control. The tool is designed to endure maximum impact with minimal distortion. Interchangeable and replaceable tips are available in the following options - a 5/16 inches nylon tip with a steel reinforcing pin to prevent bending or breakage, providing a completely mar-free punching action. - brass tips in various diameters, offering a harder-than-nylon but softer-than-steel impact, suitable where slight discoloration is acceptable. Aluminum tips in two diameters, also providing a harder-than-nylon but softer-than-steel impact, where slight discoloration is acceptable. A Remington shotgun punch tip with a 0.165 inches diameter nylon tip, without a steel pin, which is non-marring and used for removing trigger plate pins from models 870, 1100 and 1187. A single replaceable non-marring nylon punch with a 0.165 inches diameter, specifically designed for removing trigger plate pins from models 870, 1100 and 1187.
