Brownells high-speed steel taps are crafted specifically for tapping or refining pre-existing threads in 1911 frames. The 0.236-60 TPI tap is designed to thread frames to fit bushings, while the 0.150-50 TPI tap is used for threading the bushings for the grip screws.
