Features

Brownells superhard bullet casting alloy is available in ingots weighing approximately 5 lb. This alloy comprises 70% lead and 30% antimony, providing an excellent means to harden recovered lead while being easier to melt than pure antimony. The superhard alloy melts at approximately 745 deg F. Due to the difficulty in determining the Brinell hardness of superhard alloy, it is sold based on its antimony content. It is manufactured from virgin metals, not scrap, ensuring the addition of a clean alloy. The product is sold by the ingot, with weights being approximate.
