Features
The BRN-16A4 features a classic 20 inches government profile barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm, offering a distinctive and recognizable design. This barrel includes a chrome-lined bore and chamber with a 1:7 twist rate, optimized for M855 62 grain or heavier projectiles. The muzzle is equipped with an M16A2 flash hider, known for its effective performance. The "F" marked front sight base is equipped with an A2 square post, bayonet lug, sling swivel and triangle handguard cap. The USGI barrel nut is compatible with a wide range of aftermarket handguards, ensuring the upper receiver is adaptable for future enhancements. The M16A2 style handguards provided include a standard heat shield, faithfully replicating the original A2 handguards' appearance and functionality. Unlike typical M4 upper receivers, this model does not feature M4 feed ramps, maintaining the authenticity of the original A4 design. The included Bolt carrier group is finished with a phosphate coating and features a chrome-lined bore and gas key interior.
