The second-generation Brownells 1911 magazines feature robust construction paired with the reliability characteristic of a century-old service weapon. The magazine body and follower are crafted from heat-treated stainless steel and include witness holes for quick round counting. The xylan exterior coating offers corrosion resistance and a smooth, friction-reducing finish. An anti-tilt follower is integrated with an extra-power spring. The detachable polymer base pad facilitates easy disassembly and provides drop protection during rapid magazine changes.
