Features
Two specially designed punches facilitate the installation of the 870-ejector spring and housing onto Remington's distinctive two-step rivet with ease. The #1 tool features a 0.07 inches hole on its face, enabling the attachment of the ejector housing to the receiver using the lower section of the rivet. Subsequently, the #2 tool is employed to secure the ejector spring within the ejector housing using the upper section of the rivet. The Deluxe Kit includes these two punches along with an ejector spring rivet cutter, which allows for the precise removal of only the peened area of the front rivet. This often permits the re-peening of the existing rivet.
