Features
The Brownells BRN-180M lower receiver is engineered to complement the BRN-180 upper receivers, optimizing the capabilities of this distinctive series. The BRN-180M is fully ambidextrous, featuring an ambidextrous bolt release and magazine release. The ambidextrous magazine lever is designed to function seamlessly with the standard mil-spec magazine catch. The BRN-180M includes the necessary hardware for the ambidextrous bolt release and magazine release lever. While it is fully compatible with mil-spec lower receiver components and triggers, the BRN-180M lower receiver eliminates traditional receiver extension threads, replacing them with a milled 1913 picatinny rail section for the attachment of Sig Sauer MCX style stocks. Constructed from billet 7075 T-6 aluminum with a hard anodized finish, it features an integral oversized trigger guard, a threaded bolt catch pin and a captive set screw for the takedown pin detent spring, both of which are included. Due to its proprietary design, the BRN-180M lower receiver is incompatible with standard AR-15 upper receivers. The bolt catch screw, ambidextrous magazine release lever screw and ambidextrous bolt catch lever screw are all installed or removed using a 1/16 inches Allen wrench.
