The Brownells RMR slide for Glock 17 Gen 3 pistols is a premium upgrade for factory G17 models or an ideal enhanced slide for custom builds on compatible frames. It features a pre-cut slot for secure, low-profile bipoding of a reflex red-dot sight, specifically designed for the Trijicon RMR footprint. A lightweight polymer cover plate is included for those not using a red-dot, maintaining a sleek appearance. The slide comes with standard-height front and rear sights, which can serve as primary sights or reliable backup "iron" sights when used with a red dot. Available in a standard solid top or an innovative "window" cutout design, the latter enhances airflow to cool the barrel and showcases upgraded barrels with unique finishes or patterns. For performance enhancement, the window cutout can be paired with a ported barrel for the Glock 17, venting combustion gases to counteract muzzle rise and ensure rapid follow-up shots. This design eliminates the need for a bulky compensator, allowing the pistol to fit standard Glock 17 holsters. The Brownells RMR slide for Glock 17 Gen 3 combines precision engineering with customizable style and performance.
