Features

A living legend, the Browning citori has enjoyed 50 years of reverence from hunters and target shooters alike. It stands as one of the toughest, most reliable, best handling, and visually striking over and under shotguns in existence. These accolades come as no surprise, considering the Citori's foundation is the superposed, a creation of the renowned John M. Browning - a figure widely acclaimed as the greatest gun designer in history. While the superposed wasn't the inaugural over and under shotgun, it marked the first triumph in commercial success for this design. John M. Browning, himself an enthusiast of shotguns, conceived the superposed with the belief that a single sighting plane and selective trigger would outperform other twin barrel shotguns of its time. Furthermore, his intention was to make it more reliable and accessible than other over under models. Unfortunately, Mr. Browning didn't live to witness the fruition of the superposed, as he passed away in 1926 before he could finalize his visionary work.
