At its heart is the McMillan Game Warden 2.0 stock, crafted from lightweight carbon fiber for unparalleled durability and weather resistance. Machined-in aluminum pillars ensure a precise fit for the action, while bedding at the action screws and recoil lug ensure the barrel floats freely, ensuring consistent accuracy. The Game Scout design combines elements of both hunting and target stocks, featuring a vertical grip with a top thumb rest, a wider fore-end and a raised comb for optimal eye alignment with large optics. Graphics are strategically applied to break up the rifle's outline, aiding concealment. A premium Pachmayr Decelerator pad mitigates felt recoil for enhanced shooting comfort. The use of carbon fiber extends to the wrapped barrel from preferred barrels, which is 4 inches shorter than standard to maintain compactness when fitted with a suppressor. These barrels undergo meticulous precision boring, button rifling and stress relief to ensure exceptional quality and accuracy. Unlike simpler carbon fiber constructions, they employ a robust wrapping process for superior strength and stiffness. The barrel features a threaded muzzle (5/8-24) ready for optional suppressor use and includes a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector cap. The action is meticulously bedded and the barrel is free-floated to maintain consistent precision. A durable Cerakote carbon gray finish protects the action, bolt and extended bolt handle, surpassing traditional bluing in terms of durability and corrosion resistance.
