The DISSENT 9mm upper group is a standalone upper receiver that houses the entire action and recoil assembly, eliminating the need for a traditional buffer tube. This compact design is CMMG's answer to the legal scrutiny surrounding pistol stabilizing braces, offering a more streamlined and versatile option for AR pistols.

This upper uses CMMG's patented Compact Action and Radial Delayed Blowback technology with a fixed ejector. A non-reciprocating side charger allows for fast bolt operation without needing to take your eye off the target.

This upper is compatible with the following:

Mk4 and standard AR15 lower receivers (when used with CMMG 9AR conversion mags)
MkGs and Mk17 lower groups

Each DISSENT upper group includes a 1913 Picatinny rail end plate to replace the lower receiver's buffer tube.
