Utilizing the classic Colt-style 9mm SMG magazines, the RESOLUTE Mk9 brings 9mm and full AR15 functionality together to create a pistol caliber carbine like no other. The Mk9 platform was CMMG's first entry into the 9mm AR segment. When originally introduced the Mk9 used a straight blowback operating design but has since been updated to CMMG's patented Radial Delayed Blowback system. Radial Delayed Blowback Originally developed for the .45 ACP MkG platform, CMMG has adapted their Radial Delayed Blowback system across their pistol caliber lineup to create pistols and rifles with a softer recoil impulse and reduced bolt weight compared to traditional straight blowback systems.
