Since its introduction in 2019, our CZ 1012 shotgun has been setting records. With the 2nd Generation (G2) gas-less inertia powered model, we've tailored it specifically for American hunting needs. Unlike gas-operated shotguns that redirect gas from the barrel to cycle, the 1012 series utilizes a spring within the bolt. This spring stores energy during recoil, releasing it to rotate and unlock the twin lugs from the barrel extension and eject the spent shell moments later. Our inertia system offers a major advantage in reduced maintenance. While gas-operated guns require periodic cleaning of pistons and tubes, the CZ 1012 G2 can go significantly longer without maintenance. In rigorous testing, we pushed our 1012s to 5000-rounds without any oiling or cleaning, experiencing no malfunctions or part breakages. For regular field use, occasional cleaning and oiling suffice. Furthermore, the gas-less system is finely tuned to handle a wide range of shells, from light target loads to robust 3 inches magnums currently available on the market. This versatility makes the CZ 1012 G2 an exceptional choice for hunters seeking reliability, ease of maintenance and adaptability across various shooting conditions.
