Its locked-breech barrel system is easy to take down using the slide stop, similar to a CZ 75-style takedown. The DWX Compact also features a bushing-less barrel system like the P-10, P-09, or P-07, simplifying the removal of the match-grade barrel. With standard 1911 parts, it offers customization options for gunsmiths and competitive shooters.
