The Daniel Defense Hunter 300 Blackout is built for shooters who demand accuracy, durability, and hard-hitting performance in a modern sporting rifle. Centered around a 16-inch cold hammer forged barrel, this rifle is designed to deliver consistent precision across a wide range of 300 Blackout projectiles. A carbine-length gas system supports reliable operation, while the threaded 5/8x24 muzzle is fitted with a knurled thread protector that can be removed to accommodate suppressors or alternate muzzle devices. This configuration provides flexibility for both hunting and range applications without sacrificing reliability or balance.

Surrounding the barrel is the MFR 15.0 free-floating handguard, offering a rigid platform with M-LOK attachment points along the sides and bottom and a continuous Picatinny top rail for optics and accessories. The rifle comes equipped with a Geissele Super Semi-Automatic two-stage trigger for precise shot control, along with an ambidextrous safety selector and an independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle to support left- and right-handed operation. Daniel Defense furniture, including the buttstock and pistol grip, completes the setup, and the rifle is finished in a Kryptek Highlander camouflage pattern that blends function with a purpose-driven hunting aesthetic.
