Features
Available for standard 7.62x51mm and 5.56 45 threaded barrels, the Keymount Muzzle Brake is your gateway to silence. When you re ready for peace and quiet use the Keymount brake to quickly attach your Sandman-L or Sandman-S to your rifle. If you re not quite ready to turn up the silence, you can still employ one of the finest brakes on the market and experience a flatter shooting rifle with minimal concussion compared to traditional muzzle brakes.
The Dead Air DA101 KeyMo Muzzle Brake is a 1/2"-28 threaded quick-detach (QD) device compatible with most AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56mm NATO. It features a .30 caliber bore, allowing it to be used on rifles firing cartridges up to 7.62mm (like .300 Blackout) that utilize the 1/2"-28 thread pitch. The brake reduces recoil when shooting unsuppressed, and its unique taper design prevents the suppressor from carbon-locking onto the mount.
The DA101 serves as the host for any KeyMo-equipped suppressor, including the native Dead Air Sandman and Sierra 5 series. Furthermore, by utilizing the appropriate KeyMo adapter (sold separately), it gains broad compatibility with suppressors from other major brands, such as the SilencerCo Omega 300 and Saker models, and the YHM Resonator and Turbo series.
