The flat wire spring for 1911 handguns is an essential upgrade for both serious shooters and enthusiasts. With a service life up to ten times longer than conventional coil springs, it delivers improved cycling and works well with a wider range of loads. Designed for use with our flat wire guide rod system, it's recommended to replace the spring after 30,000-40,000 rounds. Note that it is only compatible with the flat wire guide rod and plug, not with standard recoil spring components.
