These bases are precision-engineered from extruded aluminum, featuring picatinny slot and rail spacing that facilitates quick and straightforward adjustments to eye relief, providing extensive flexibility in scope selection. They are pre-drilled to align with the factory scope mount holes on the firearm's receiver and are compatible with both picatinny and weaver scope rings. The lightweight tactical mounts incorporate a milled center channel to reduce weight. The full-width cross-slots are manufactured to MIL-STD-1913 specifications with a tolerance of +/- 0.002 inches. Constructed from ultra-rigid, extruded 6061-T6 aluminum, the package includes socket head Torx screws and a wrench. EGW advises applying 20 in-lb of torque and a drop of blue Loctite for secure mounting.
