The EGW Ruger revolver scope bases are designed to fit factory-drilled and tapped revolvers, providing the adaptability of a one-piece picatinny scope rail without the need for additional drilling or tapping. These bases are precision-machined from extruded 6061-T6 aluminum, featuring picatinny slot-and-rail spacing that facilitates quick and easy adjustments to eye relief and offers extensive flexibility in scope selection. They are pre-drilled to align with the factory scope mount holes on the firearm's receiver and are compatible with both picatinny and weaver scope rings. The lightweight tactical mounts incorporate a milled center channel to reduce weight, while the full-width cross-slots are manufactured to MIL-STD-1913 specifications with a tolerance of +/- 0.002 inches. The package includes socket head Torx screws and a wrench. EGW advises applying 20 in-lb of torque and a drop of blue Loctite for secure mounting.
