The Heavy Duty mounts are designed to be 0.10 inches lower than the lightweight mounts, reducing weight and positioning the optic closer to the barrel centerline, thereby enhancing accuracy. The full-width cross-slots are manufactured to MIL-STD-1913 specifications with a tolerance of +/-0.002 inches.
