The Heavy Duty mounts are designed to be 0.10 inches lower than the lightweight mounts, reducing weight and positioning the optic closer to the barrel centerline to enhance accuracy. The full-width cross-slots are manufactured to MIL-STD-1913 specifications with a tolerance of +/- 0.002 inches. Constructed from ultra-rigid extruded 7075-T6 aluminum, the package includes socket head Torx screws and a wrench. EGW advises applying 20 in-lb of torque and a drop of blue Loctite for optimal installation.
