These bases are precision-engineered from extruded aluminum, featuring picatinny slot-and-rail spacing that facilitates quick and straightforward adjustments to eye relief, providing extensive flexibility in scope selection. They are pre-drilled to align with the factory scope mount holes on the gun's receiver and are compatible with both picatinny and weaver scope rings. The Heavy Duty mounts are designed to be 0.10 inches lower than the Lightweight mounts, reducing weight and positioning your optic closer to the barrel centerline for enhanced accuracy. The full-width cross-slots are manufactured to MIL-STD-1913 specifications with a tolerance of +/- 0.002 inches. Constructed from ultra-rigid extruded 7075-T6 aluminum, the package includes socket head Torx screws and a wrench. EGW advises applying 20 in-lb of torque and a drop of blue Loctite. This picatinny scope mount is specifically designed for Ruger #1 B or 1 S rifles and mounts flush on the stock recoil pins in the barrel.
