The factory rear sight is replaced to facilitate the installation of a Burris Docter-style red dot adapter base, which is compatible with iron rear sight dovetails for straightforward mounting of a Burris Docter or similar red dot sight. The adapter accommodates a hole pattern that aligns with a Burris Docter base, eliminating the need for slide modifications. An adjustable hex-head screw provides a secure lock within the dovetail and the package includes two hex-head cap screws to firmly attach the sight to the base. Models are available to fit both Novak and Bo-Mar rear sight dovetails.
