Enhance the accuracy of your popular rifles, such as the EGW Remington 700, 722 and 40x short action, with our precision-engineered scope bases. These bases allow you to add a versatile one-piece picatinny scope rail to your shotgun without the need for drilling or tapping. They are Precision-machined from extruded aluminum and feature picatinny slot-and-rail spacing, enabling quick and easy adjustments to eye relief and offering extensive flexibility in scope selection. The bases are pre-drilled to align with the factory scope mount holes on the gun's receiver and are compatible with both picatinny and weaver scope rings. The lightweight tactical mounts include a milled center channel to reduce weight. The full-width cross-slots are manufactured to MIL-STD-1913 specifications with a tolerance of +/- 0.002 inches. Constructed from ultra-rigid, extruded 6061-T6 aluminum, the package includes socket head Torx screws and a wrench. EGW advises applying 20 in-lb of torque and a drop of blue Loctite for secure mounting.
