EGW Savage 10 - 16-rounds back short action scope bases offer the convenience and versatility of a one-piece Picatinny rail - no drilling or tapping required. Precision-machined from high-grade 6061-T6 extruded aluminum, these bases are designed to deliver strength, accuracy and ease of use. Featuring Standard Picatinny slot-and-rail spacing, the base allows for quick adjustments to eye relief and provides broad compatibility with a variety of optics. Pre-drilled to align with the factory scope mount holes on your rifle's receiver, it installs easily and fits both picatinny and weaver-style rings. To keep weight to a minimum without sacrificing durability, the mount includes a milled center channel. Full-width cross-slots are machined to MIL-STD 1913 specifications with a strict +/-0.002 inches tolerance to ensure secure and repeatable mounting. Each scope base comes with socket head Torx screws and a wrench. For a solid, lasting installation, EGW recommends applying 20 in-lb of torque and a drop of blue Loctite.
