This mount is specifically engineered for compatibility with the Williams FP-GR TK peep sight. The corresponding front sight and block from Williams include the Lyman Globe front sight and the Williams rear sight. The distance from the top of the receiver to the top of the rear sight dovetail measures 0.33 inches, while the distance to the top of the picatinny rail is 0.45 inches. This rail is designed to be ambidextrous, featuring milling on both sides to accommodate bolt clearance for both left- and right-handed models. The picatinny cross slots extend the entire length of the rail, providing the shooter with flexibility in mounting scope rings and other accessories. The central channel reduces the overall weight of the mount and, in many cases, does not interfere with the use of factory iron sights. EGW's one-piece scope mounts are the preferred choice for both hunters and tactical shooters. These mounts are precision-machined in their facility using advanced machining centers. Post-machining, the mounts undergo tumbling, sandblasting and type II anodizing to ensure long-lasting durability. For installation, EGW recommends applying 20 in-lb of torque and a drop of blue Loctite (sold separately). All components, including mounting screws, wrenches and packaging, are manufactured in the USA.
