Faxon Firearms is proud to partner with Q in the development of barrels for their ground-breaking new round, 8.6 Blackout. Designed with an impressive 1:3 twist rate, the 8.6 Blackout barrels efficiently channel rotational energy to enhance on target energy, ensuring superior performance. Like all Faxon barrels, these 8.6 Blackout barrels are machined from raw bar stock in our Greater Cincinnati facility. The barrels are fully stress relieved, air gauge tested, magnetic particle inspected and 11 deg target crowned for superior accuracy. Each barrel undergoes a rigorous series of tests throughout the manufacturing process, culminating in a final inspection to ensure the highest standards. Faxon barrels are individually checked for headspace using precision custom hardened gauges and are backed by the Faxon lifetime guarantee, promising lasting reliability and performance.
