Faxon Firearms compensators are specifically designed for compatibility with Glock Gen 3 pistols and Faxon Firearms FX-19 models. The fitment with other pistols or generations cannot be guaranteed, as testing and validation were conducted on the following specific models, Glock 19 Gen 3, Glock 17 Gen 3, Glock 34 Gen 3 and Faxon Firearms FX-19 Hellfire. Constructed from durable 6061 aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating, Faxon pistol compensators are engineered with a uniquely angled front port single chamber design. This design feature allows the compensator to effectively enhance consistency by reducing both muzzle climb and recoil. The angled ports are strategically positioned to direct gas upwards, which contrasts with traditional compensators that deflect gas primarily sideways. This configuration minimizes vertical muzzle movement, thereby improving shooting stability and overall reliability. To ensure a seamless integration with Faxon branded barrels, the compensator is designed for the barrel to protrude flush with the slide. For barrels from other manufacturers, it is recommended that the barrel protrudes no more than 0.60 inches for optimal fitment. Each compensator package includes necessary accessories such as thread locker, two 6-32 set screws and a 1/16 Allen wrench for installation. This comprehensive approach ensures that Faxon Firearms compensators are not only effective in performance enhancement but also convenient and straightforward to install on compatible Glock Gen 3 and FX-19 models.
