The barrel features a Government profile behind the gas block, tapering to a shoulder with a 1.10 inches journal .625 gas block. In front of the gas block, the barrel continues straight to a 1/2-28 muzzle with a full shoulder. Faxon Firearms barrels represent the pinnacle of value. Manufactured in house, these barrels are fully stress relieved, air gauge tested and 11 deg target crowned to ensure superior accuracy. Quality is embedded in every stage of the process, starting with the best materials, like certified 4150 Mil Spec steel. Each barrel undergoes a battery of tests throughout the manufacturing process, finishing in Nitride and undergoing a final inspection. Additionally, every barrel is individually checked for headspace using precision custom hardened gauges to ensure long lasting performance and reliability.
