Faxon's Match series barrels elevate our renowned performance and value to new levels. Manufactured in house from gun barrel quality bar stock, the Match series begins with 416R stainless steel and features 5R rifling. This hybrid rifling design, with lands opposite grooves and reduced sharp angles, minimizes jacket deformation, increasing velocity and making for easier cleaning. After rigorous testing, the barrels are nitride treated inside and out, locking in the bore for enhanced durability, improving barrel life and protecting against the elements. The extension is coated with nickel Teflon, providing exceptional dry lubricity, corrosion resistance and a tighter fit between the extension and receiver further enhancing accuracy. When duty calls or the buzzer beeps, the Faxon Match series barrels are ready to deliver unrivaled performance and value, ensuring superior results in the most demanding situations.
