Manufactured in house from gun barrel quality bar stock, the Match series starts with 416R stainless steel and features 5R rifling. This hybrid rifling design, with lands opposite grooves and reduced sharp angles, reduces jacket deformation, enhancing velocity and making for easier cleaning. After rigorous testing, the barrels are nitride treated both inside and out, locking in the bore, improving barrel life and protecting against the elements. The extension is coated with nickel Teflon, providing exceptional dry lubricity, corrosion resistance and improving the fit between the extension and receiver, further boosting accuracy. Whether it's for duty or when the buzzer beeps, Faxon Match series barrels are built to deliver unrivaled performance and value, ensuring reliability and precision in the most demanding conditions.
