I unlocked my gas tube and now I can’t get the lock to go down. It’s driving me crazy. Looks like everything lines up but it’s like the gas tube needs to move more towards the front of the gun to get the lock to go down but it won’t move any farther forward.

Looks like just a tap-and-a-half downward at the back of the tube should get it there. Nothing obstructing the tube from seating, i assume?
Pushed forward with everything I could and couldn’t get it to go down so I shaved off some material at the back of the tube. Now it’s a snug fit and I got to lock down.
