I got my AK-V in January with the expectation that it had the “puzzle piece” rear trunnion. I never gave it a second thought because everything I saw before I bought it they all had it. Well, upon further inspection mine does not. It basically limits me to the picatinny brace set-up, which is not what I wanted. Maybe someone from PSA on here can answer the question as to why mine doesn’t have it?
Welcome ……perhaps some folks here understand what your referring to “puzzle piece”. It would be helpful if you could post a picture of the rear trunion. . Thanks
Here’s a couple of links, I couldn’t get the pictures to upload correctly. You will be able to clear see what I’m referring to.

The AK-V was sold in two configurations iirc. Post pictures of yours.
Your never limited. Your not the first AKV owner to want to change the triangle folding brace. Look over the “ Official AKV Picture” thread and message some of the members there. There are quite a few of them that have changed from the Triangle Folding brace to different stocks or braces.
Everything can be modified to fit and work.
Some people are up to the job…….and some prefer to just bolt on & go.
Whatever type of modification your after…. I am sure someone on this forum has gone down that road….and before long you will be overwhelmed with solutions.
