I bought this Combat Armory stripped lower ($40). Lower is OEM Glock Gen 3 parts kit except for Tango Down slide lock/release and I replaced the Glock trigger shoe (shoe only) with a P80 flat faced shoe ($7.50 in parts for the shoe). Glock extended mag release. This was all stuff I had around.
Upper is a bare PSA slide with all Glock internals, Glock Gen 5 barrel and a PSA recoil spring assembly.
Texture is a very sandpaper like rough texture (but I like it). Two forward pin holes are ridiculously tight (require hammer) but otherwise functions perfectly and it’s a great shooter.
I do think the SCT-19 frame is better frame and the PSA Dagger lower has better ergonomics and feels better. Lots of options out there!
That’s 15 rounds at 10 yards. I’ve got about 750 rounds through it and no failures of any kind (all Blazer Brass 115 or 124g)
have the same CA glock frame…love the feel. only issue i have. is the magazine release spring hole in the frame is a bit big, resulting in a weak tension on the mag release…does yours have that issue?
Nice, thanks. I also looked it up after you mentioned it. I never quite understood why PSA went with a striker tip that was not Glock compatible but this new 2.0 version seems like a really smart move. I’ll have to order one to check it out. I’ll probably put it in and keep the original for a spare.
Now if they only had regular Glock like frame pins rather than roll pins I’d be in heaven. There is something to be said to be able to completely strip a firearm with nothing more than a simple punch like tool and no other equipment. Simple is good. That’s one of Glocks main strengths IMO. Still love the Daggers though. They are impressive considering the price point.
