Another Year, Another Chance for Colorado to Violate Our Rights

Gotcha. I missed that post you made but saw an article on it

Regardless, it’s very disappointing

It will be harder to defeat every step that it advances

I moved from CT to WV because of that c**p. After someone lied to police and tried to call down a red-flag confiscation, I sent almost my entire collection to Rock Island Auction. Rather have the money than the state confiscate and destroy everything. Did a dealer-dealer transfer of the remainder when we finally moved. Don’t drive through NY or NJ with firearms. If you get pulled over you are automatically charged with a felony and everything is confiscated. Legal costs to defeat the charges usually run $30K.

New suggestions try Arizona or another free State. I don’t like how they made Me get a digital copy of my title.

I don’t think they have the votes :pray:t3:

Lets pray it stays that way.

Boy Howdy!

im praying for yall that they dont.

The Senate is currently hearing a second reading on SB 25-003, semi auto with detachable magazine ban, it came out of committee today.

One Democrap yes vote failed to show. That is big…

If we can turn one single Democrat vote NO, this bill dies here and now . Four democrats have already pledged to vote no, the bill is too extreme.

Ive been listening all day to anti 2A bills being debated.

I’ve emailed everyone on these committees in opposition…

0130

Hearing is still going

Work today will absolutely suck

The bill is falling apart, amendment after amendment…

This is good

Also, our gayy governor has said that he’ll veto any bill that costs the state money as we face a 1B dollar deficit

This unconstitutional monstrosity costs the state money

No vote today after 17 hours

This one really bothers me because I think it stands a good chance of passing

What are they supposed to do with the written receipt?

Unfortunately the Semi Auto Ban SB25-003 passed out of the Senate very late last night and now moves to the House. I’ve been up since 11:30 last night when I was notified.

We did manage to flip one senator, but two traitors who said they would vote NO, did a 180° and voted YES.

It passed by four votes…Had those two not flipped it would have been 17-17.

The original bill was 10 pages, it’s now 18 pages long with amendments.

There is an unconstitutional carve out to allow citizens to continue to purchase semi autos.

I’d have to submit fingerprints, as if I’m a criminal, take a state approved firearms training course and pass with a 90% or better, go through an “enhanced” background check, and then I’ll be able to obtain a Colorado FOID card that will allow me to buy a semi auto firearm.

I’d like to point out that Illinois has a FOID card program that within the last few days was ruled unconstitutional. Blatantly unconstitutional.

(Firearms Owner Identification Card)

You can’t even handle a gun in a store without presenting that card, nor can you buy a gun, OR ammo, without presenting that card. One of many reasons that I left that corrupt state.

Two recall efforts have been launched against two of the democratic senators that voted for this bill.

They are in weak districts and stand a fair chance of being recalled

well at least thats good news. time to make those traitors pay there. i wish you luck in your continued fight. I must say im proud to know you since you’re so involved in your politics to be pro 2a… keeep up the good fight brother.

Not an option for many folks, but we moved out of CT to WV because of that “stuff” going on.

That’s not off the table. We’re already having conversations.

Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota all look very appealing.

The issue is timing. It’ll take a few years and the housing market to bounce back somewhat make this a win win. I still have plenty of equity, I just want more so that I can downsize and pay cash.

I also need to get my boys through college or established in solid jobs.

it just sucks that you have to relocate just cause the state is stupid law wise. that just burns my biscuits.

i dont blame you for looking elsewhere though, and im glad your doing it intelligently. whatever you do, i hope for you the best.
