It’s irrelevant whether PSA wrote it or not , they sell it and should know what they sell. They should value their customers enough to know the products they sell. A quick search for PSA complaints on the internet shows this is a common thing for them. If they keep it up sooner or later they’ll see customers going elsewhere. Ill continue to buy parts from PSA but unless its a really outstanding deal no more guns. Ill gladly pay a little more elsewhere if I don’t have to worry about not getting an item as advertized.
Oh ffs. PSA does millions of $$ of business a day and has thousands of products on their website. Post some pics of the magwell, as i want to see it. I bet the manufacturer’s definiton of “flared” is different than yours. If it isnt prefectly straight…if there are no bevels on the inside, then it isnt flared. If there are, well then.
You remind me of the guy that sent back his dagger slide multiple timea because he thought “truglow” meant night sites, even though it is a brand and the description said they were solid black sights.
“Blatant deception” would imply PSA is purposely misleading in product descriptions for gain.
That clearly isn’t the case. You need to cool off.
description stated Includes a removable extended flared magwell. It did NOT include a removable extended flared magwell. That is a deception. Maybe you PSA fanboys don’t care if you don’t get an item that’s not as advertised but most of us do. According to Springfield this is standard on the XDM compact elite series.
Post a link to the one you bought from PSA’s site.
And post pics of your actual gun…
A typo and blatant deception is nowhere near each other. Just because somebody messes something up does not mean they are trying to blatantly deceive you. So somebody messed up and the description is wrong. You were misinformed. You are not blatantly deceived by anybody.
Now this is an honest question/comment. In that description of the Magwell I do not feel like they included it for free. It seems like they were describing a feature that can be added to the gun. They did say specifically that the 19 round mags can be purchased separately. But to my understanding and what I read above it does not specifically say that it is included. It also does not specifically say that it is sold separately. I do not know how others see that?

I bought my XDMe from an FFl in Colorado
It didn’t come with a flared magwelll either
I’m pretty sure it’s an accessory that you buy separately to run larger magazines
A simple visit to the XD owners forums and a search would show that compact handguns from HK and XD come with stiff magazines springs when new.
The Magwell comes installed from the factory. You have to remove it to change the back straps. Its on page 28 of the owner’s manual.
Stiff springs are a commonality on many different magazines.
What is so hard to understand about" IT DID NOT COME WITH THE REMOVABLE MAGWELL" IT DID NOT COME WITH A 14 ROUND MAGAZINE" It came with a 13 round magazine. despite what the PSA description says it did not come with either. Its like a cult here where saying PSA didn’t deliver as promised is blasphemy or something.
We are trying to figure out what is going on. Can you give me the product # of the one you ordered?
The one you reference on the SA website above was discontinued and the SA website says as much in the title. It could be that SA changed things but the description PSA was given is for the discontinued model.
Im guessing you bought this one because of the reviews:
It states clearly a “13+1” capacity mag is a FEATURE, and it says “complimented by a flared magwell.” Nowhere does it say it comes with either a 14rd mag or the magwell. Furthermore, the pics do not show a magwell.
This is a case of misreading on your behalf. The entire gun world knows “+1” in a mag description means 1 in the chamber. The description of the gun even says it is a 13rd magazine.
As i said earlier in the thread, just like the guy that bought black sites without reading because he thought “truglow” was a feature instead of a name brand.
Had a feeling.
So you really think someone from PSA picked, packed and put together your order???
Ummm no. It was probably put together from whomever you purchased the it from. Hence the previous replies of third party vendors.
I get that you ordered from PSA, blaming them for something they probably had nothing to do with makes a lot of us go, what.
And calling those that tried to explain this a cult is like WOW.
Hey guys I just made a new batch of my famous KoolAid who’s thirsty ![]()
