Hey all, just figured I would put the word out here. We are actively working on a California compliant page in the main site where we plan house all of our compliant firearms. We have some big aspirations for it and hope that you will find it useful.
That’s welcome news, and a great idea!
I’ll be looking forward to seeing it.
Illinois passed a assault weapon ban . And we have to register are Ars now. I’ve also seen videos of police in California coming and taking their registered ARS now from law abiding citizens.
I love Palmetto. I have a suggestion: If Palmetto could package a stripped lower finishing kit with an AR Magloc and an option to include a Kingpin for an AR15; Maybe different stocks/colors and optional trigger choices or upgrades, they’d make some huge dough and service we poor, forgotten shooters living under the storm cloud here.
I’ll send this over to our merchandisers and see what we can do!
By the time the folks in the Nut Capital are done, that page won’t take much time to maintain, will it? Maybe, rather than show both firearms at once, you could show just one and switch them every other week so the person responsible for the web page has something to do.
Sounds like a good idea, though. Maybe then the younger people, who attended school after they apparently stopped teaching reading, will stop asking “is this or that legal in California?” Answer: just look at the CA Compliant page. If it isn’t listed there then it’s only legal in free states.
Even the teachers in CA can’t read or write. Every time they sent home flyers from my kid’s school, they’d be scattered with misspelled words and grammer issues. I always laughed and pointed out each mistake to my wife and wondered why these grown adults that teach our kids cant properly type up a letter or flyer? Apparently even spell check doesn’t work on CA computers? ![]()
I’m so glad our boys are finished with school. I don’t know if I could handle the BS that’s going on in schools today. No wonder kids today don’t even know how to count change. ![]()
Just for fun—yea I know it’s mean—if a purchase rings up as, say $15.06 for example, I will deliberately give the cashier $20.06 because I want a fiver back. Or worse, if the cost is $16.06, I’ll hand over $21.06 because I still want a five for change. The expressions on cashiers’ faces are priceless, and sort of discouraging for the future of our planet.
You nailed it sir.
Oh no, no, no, dearie, we don’t use spell check. Spell “checking” something implies that there might be something that needs correcting. Correction implies error, that your spelling might be wrong. As our discredited, atheist psychologists have confirmed, there is no right or wrong. If you want to spell “C-A-T” as “p-i-z-z-a” instead because it makes you feel good, go right ahead!
Everyone is a champion, everyone is a winner. And you get a gold star automatically. Uh oh, wait a minute. If we say Gold Star, does that imply gold is better or more valued than other metals? Is that really fair to tin, lead, silver, iron, etc?
Oh I’ve got it! The solution is simple: since people are all the same, men and women are exactly the same, then it follows that all metals are the same too! Whew! For a minute there I thought reality might contradict what I “know” to be true but liberal logic saved the day once again.
I just realized, however, much to my horror, that at the beginning I said “no” to you and we should never say “no.”. I will donate some money to an Endangered Cockroach foundation as penance. I’ll send them about ten pound of pennies and write off the donation as $308,000 worth of gold.
Hey @sean.psa , any chance that you guys can make a jakl gas knob with no holes?
That should make the gun not cycle from gas right?
essentially making it a single shot, completely avoiding all the ever changing CA compliant nonsense?
That is an interesting thought… I sent this over to Cameron to see what he thinks.
Welcome to the PSA community forums ![]()
@truism-gorilla0e
I hope ya’ll can figure out that secret sauce,
If I understand the convoluted mess of CA gun laws a single shot status would also mean it could be sold/ registered as a pistol, meaning those of us with a CCW could legally carry one as a truck gun/ under our license.
I’d personally love the convenience of a manual transmission gun and not have to worry about stupid mag locks/thumb blocks/ slightly shotgunning the upper to drop the mag…
The jakl ergonomics really make a straight pull/ pump style reciprocation a potentially viable option for those of us behind enemy lines
Do you have a CCW in california?
If so that’s a miracle. Or you are connected to law enforcement or something.
I do.
I am no one special.
CCW has changed a lot in the last few years.
Even LA County (not that I’m there) is issuing nowadays.
It did take about a year of waiting “to process” but that was expected.
That’s incredible actually. CA is around 0.3% for CCW’s. Way below the national average. Most never get approved.
Maybe I can bat 1000 and convince PSA to make a “single-shot” kit for CA compliant jakls ![]()
If you want a jakl, Sabre, or anything else psa doesn’t sell in a “compliant” configuration there’s a number of gun shops outside of CA that will make them “compliant” and then ship to an FFL in CA. That’s how I got my Jakl. They pinned the F5 stock and threw in a comp mag. It cost an extra $100 but it’s well worth it in my opinion. I threw in a freedom fighter mag lock after I got it and it’s awesome. Reloads are pretty much as quick and easy as a free state AR. It would be great if psa could cut out the middleman and slap the comp mag in and put a screw in the stock & sell em. Easy money and more loyal customers.
